Since 1955, Christ-centered individuals, couples and families have created wonderful memories, fun-filled holidays, laughter, joy, and companionship, travel adventures in and around Sunnybreeze. We are a 55+ Christian retirement community which has a deep appreciation for our Spiritual life, our History, our People, and care for visiting Pastors and Missionaries seeking rest at the Shepard’s Fold. We value our simplicity of life, fellowship and making new friends, our deep desire to live a passionate life with our Savior Jesus Christ.

About Us

Our community is nestled in a country atmosphere, set against the beautiful natural Florida landscape of trees and lush vegetation.  Our center has many activities:  entertainment, swimming pool, community centre,  RV sites, villas surrounding "our" Lake Erie.  Peace River with its abundance of wild life, myriads of birds and its calming water makes for beautiful sunset boat rides, kayaking or fresh water fishing. In the center of our community is Sunnybreeze Golf Course while nearby are beaches, restaurants, boating, Coastal water fishing many recreational activities and shopping.

We are centrally located in South West Florida 10 miles north of Punta Gorda, between Sarasota and Fort Myers in Sunny Florida.

I love cinnamon. I love cinnamon rolls, cinnamon graham crackers, cinnamon candies, cinnamon toast, cinnamon apples, and cinnamon pretzels. Cinnamon is one of those spices that makes other things taste better. However, it never crossed my mind to think about where cinnamon comes from. Then, on a recent trip to Sri Lanka, I learned that 90 percent of all the cinnamon in the world comes from that island nation located in the Indian Ocean. For all of the cinnamon I’ve enjoyed over the years, I never stopped to consider its source.
